Anticipation & surprise
Having had a quarterly plan initially to see what it was all about, I was hooked! After then buying a yearly one I was then a bit disappointed as I had replicate items. However, once I had sorted it out with customer services I returned the replica items and had a refund. Since then I have new items and some really interesting stuff which I wouldn't necessarily bought or thought I needed. However, they soon began to be used and now most items received are in day to day use. So if you continue with your subscription or change your plan make sure you sort your plan out with customer service before changing plans

Unexpected but useful
The thing is, you never know what you're going to get so sometimes you'll get things you'd never have bought normally. That's fine though, we have eBay, and people we know who might enjoy these things as a present. But when you get things you really like, well, it's like Christmas. That joy of a present you didn't know you wanted or needed, and that's brilliant. Is this for everyone? No. But if you can afford it then go for it, you'll look forward to receiving your package every few months.

Mystery finally revealed
Well.....when you pay for a surprise you would of liked it yesterday so I was more excited to open this package knowing it was on its way! This is one of the very few unboxing experiences we are able to do as an entire family. Their is something for all. This is no mean feat as my family consists of myself. 41 year old single female. Items are good, QI charger gets the most use, bad points are that I received a 2nd miniboom speaker which I got with the trial box, and something to stick on the back of a phone, and from what I've seen I can't imagine the combined value of the items to be at least £100 as advertised.

This not knowing has its charms…
I like gadgets. Not in a “I want all the new gadgets now and then I’ll use them once before I leave them on the shelf when the new gadget comes along” sort of way but in a “I want usable gadgets that fit into my life and make it better” sort of way. And The Gadget Club gives me that level of satisfaction. The unboxing is something that makes it all the more enjoyable; not knowing what’s in there (and knowing it can be returned if it misses the mark) is just delightful. For a split second the box contains almost everything that is possible. And just before the gadget is discovered, who knows what it will be? This not knowing definitely has its charm.
